Why are Aussie brands so cool?

My whole life I have been drawn towards Australian brands. They capture that laid back, bohemian cool that we just can't seem to replicate in the US or Europe.

Aussie cool has been a thing since I can remember. I was lucky enough to attend Australian fashion week a few times when I was a buyer and have been to Sydney & Melbourne (which are very different cities and vibes) and drove up the famous Gold Coast once with an ex once stopping off in little beach towns with no real plan.
